Responsibilities
Desert View Hospital is a 25-bed, acute care hospital set in a rural community. Desert View provides safe and competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. We provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all patient care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
Job Description: Responsible for the collection, analysis, formatting, and displaying data pertinent to the patient care processes. Provides
technical and analytic support to the System Quality/Performance Improvement Department and Hospital Quality Directors
Education: Associates Degree Preferred. Minimum of three (3) years applicable experience may be substituted for Associates Degree upon approval of Director.
Experience: Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in quality informatics preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong project management skills. Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel,
Power Point, Visio, and Databases.
Other: Must have working knowledge of healthcare industry. Healthcare Information Management
preferred.
