Ralph's Hardwood Floor Company, Inc. is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Flooring Installers. In this role, you will learn and master the art of installing hardwood floors, from cutting and gluing to sanding and finishing. Whether you're entry-level or have a background in hands-on work, such as farming or mechanical trades, we welcome your application. We provide comprehensive training to help you develop the skills needed to create stunning hardwood floors that exceed our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Floor Installation : Measure, cut, glue, and nail hardwood flooring with precision to create seamless, visually appealing installations.
- Surface Preparation: Prepare subfloors by leveling and smoothing surfaces to ensure optimal conditions for installation.
- Sanding and Finishing : Sand, stain, and finish hardwood floors to achieve the desired look and texture, following company standards.
- Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain power tools and equipment safely, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with other team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
The ideal candidate should possess: - Work Ethic: Hardworking with a strong work ethic; previous experience in farming, mechanical work, or other hands-on roles is beneficial.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly, as well as stand, kneel, and carry materials for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Mechanical Inclination: Comfort with using hand and power tools; mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Professionalism: Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to Learn: Open to learning and developing new skills in hardwood floor installation and finishing.
