Summary:  

The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in driving the performance of growth marketing programs. Combining Search Engine Marketing (SEM) expertise with paid advertising savvy, this position ensures that our keyword strategies accelerate demand for Pace® services across multiple business units. With an understanding of a variety of GTM strategies, this role also supports the development of localized demand generation campaigns. 

 

Essential Functions:  

  1. Partner with marketing team members to build effective digital marketing strategies, including paid and organic SEM and content-based initiatives. Build and monitor performance of keyword groups. Advise on content development and on-page strategies to improve search rankings. 
  1. Develop digital advertising strategies to effectively achieve pipeline and return on advertising spend goals across multiple platforms including, but not limited to paid search, YouTube, LinkedIn, and programmatic advertising. Create and run A/B and multivariant testing across platforms and landing destinations. 
  1. Build and monitor dashboards, reporting on progress across company Divisions and business units. Present regular updates on progress toward goals and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  1. Develop and execute localized demand generation programs as needed to support defined state and regional growth goals to include (but not limited to) email workflows, email sequencing, and targeted ad programs.
  1. Stay abreast of digital market strategies as they impact performance, including the evolution of AI search. 

 

Education & Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • Google Adwords certification or ability to quickly become certified. 
  • HubSpot certification or ability to quickly become certified. 

 

Required Knowledge:  

  • 5 years of experience with search engine algorithms and ranking methods, keyword research and SEO/SEM industry programs; experience with SEM Rush preferred. 
  • 5 years of experience with Google Ads and other paid search platforms with a strong understanding of bidding and purchasing strategies. Experience with YouTube, LinkedIn, and DSP/programmatic advertising platforms desired. 
  • 3 years of experience building and executing multi-channel digital demand generation programs for distinct market segments and/or geographies. Marketing automation system experience required; HubSpot experience preferred. 

 

Required Skills:  

  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to effectively balance a wide range of diverse initiatives. 
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data to improve digital marketing performance metrics.
  • Ability to interpret, build, and visualize data in presentations, reports, and dashboards. Ability to support strategies and recommendations with solid data analyses. 
  • Initiative to look for opportunities, to seek answers, interpret problems, and source solutions. 
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, collaboration tools, and marketing technologies. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels in the organization. 
  • Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative remote team setting. Ability to quickly establish creditability and strong working relationships.
  • Management of budgets and third-party vendors.
